DMI strives, for all in-stock orders, to process the order within 24 hours and ship within 48 hours of receiving the order.
We will not process any credit card order without correct billing information and will not ship to any address without a confirmed shipping address.
DMI’s shipping costs are calculated at the time of purchase and determined by product weight, shipping container dimensions, quantity, shipping address, and shipping option. Heavy and bulky items may require separate shipping and certain large items may include a separate handling fee. Shipping terms are FOB at the shipping point.
DMI sends tracking details at the time the shipping label is printed. It is possible to have a tracking number before it leaves the warehouse.
DMI uses UPS exclusively. UPS provides the following options for shipping:
- UPS 3-day Select®
- UPS 2nd Day Air®
- UPS Next Day Air®
- UPS Express Critical®
At this time DMI does not handle shipping outside of the USA and Canada through our website. Please call our customer service, 385-449-2700, and we can make special arrangements.
Express and overnight delivery orders for in-stock items placed prior to 2 PM PST ship same day. Orders received after 2 PM may ship the following business day. Orders after 2 PM PST may ship same day as well but please call 385-449-2700 if this is critical item.
Orders shipped via UPS requires a physical street address for accurate delivery. UPS is unable to deliver to a PO Box unless that PO Box is located within a storefront mailing service office. The same applies to APO, FPO, and DPO addresses.
DMI will ship to Hawaii and Alaska.
Customers may provide their own FedEx or UPS shipping account when placing orders through a Sales Customer Service Rep. Orders shipped on a customer-provided shipping account are subject to a handling fee per order relative to the goods purchased.
DMI cannot be held responsible for delivery delays caused by conditions beyond our control such as severe weather or carrier service interruptions.
A request to modify or cancel an order can be made through our Customer Service department. As part of our efforts to provide superior customer service, orders are typically processed within hours of the order being placed. NOTE: Once an order has shipped from our warehouse or supply partners, the order cannot be cancelled.
If you wish to return a new product, you must request a Return Goods Authorization [RGA] number and obtain a Returned Goods Authorization form by calling 385-449-2700. An RGA form is required to make a return. Instructions will be provided on the appropriate return shipping address.
Our standard restock fee is 15%, this can be more for special order items and some items are not returnable at all. We will refund shipping costs if the return is a result of a DMI error, all other shipping charges will be at your expense. Your satisfaction is very important to us and we will do all we can to work with you to avoid additional fees and delays.
If you wish to send us a tool for warranty evaluation, you must request a Return Goods Authorization [RGA] number and obtain a Returned Goods Authorization form by calling 385-449-2700. A product may only be returned for warranty evaluation if an RGA number is obtained within 30 days of purchase date. An RGA form is required to return a product. Instructions will be provided on the appropriate shipping address.
Please package the product with a copy of the original purchase receipt, a description of the problem, along with your name, email, address, and phone number. We will honor all of our manufacturer’s warranty policies and repair or replace the tool under their specified terms.
